Flagship store Love IT: TM Italia also confirms no limits made-to-measure in the retail sector by completing the project for the furnishing of the brand’s first dedicated flagship store

Following its success at Expo 2015 – in which it has two domes in the Lake Arena, under the Tree of Life – Love IT Real Italian Food has chosen to pursue its expansion plan by opening a flagship store in the heart of Milan, which will be officially open to the public on 21 September, and confirmed TM Italia as its partner for the entire project concerning the interior.

Following the Expo experiment, during which TM Italia’s show kitchen proved its reliability, quality and durability, we have also been chosen to build and fit the entire interior designed by the architect Andrea Laudini, which involves an innovative retail concept, integrating the display of food to tastings, preparation, consumption and the exclusive participation to presentations, events and show-cooking.

This initiative confirms TM Italia’s no limits tailored approach: the know-how it possesses allow it to take on turnkey interior projects for both private homes and public places, providing architects with support and executing projects without limiting their creativity, providing quality products that will last over time and installing every product with the utmost care and precision.

The flagship store on Via Rugabella is a fully customised project and saw us work on the ground floor, the basement and on the mezzanine. The selection of the materials used – based on architect Laudini’s concept – feature natural finish oak with cleft knots and “shabby brass effect” finish metal. On the ground floor, both materials were used for the counters (in the ice cream bar, pizzeria and cash desk areas). Metal, in particular, was used for the containers and shelving where food and wine products will be displayed. A large oak plank runs the length of the space and rises from the floor to become a counter, providing a sense of continuity. Oak was also used for the tables on which visitors can enjoy the food, as well as putting down and charging their mobile devices.

The project also involved building tables, shelving and other accessories on the mezzanine.

The basement, a more intimate, confidential and cosy environment, boasts vertical gardens and will be dedicated to show-cooking and themed events: we also worked in this area, making every single piece of furniture to measure.

It is an innovative concept that can be used throughout the world and showcases Made in Italy style and know-how with elegance and sobriety.

TM Italia has reserved an exclusive space in which to retrieve documents and materials that can be used to gain a greater understanding of our company and our products.
